Define
Before I start looking, I want to understand what you actually want. Not just the model, year or colour. How will you use it? What matters to you? And where are you prepared to compromise? Sometimes the car you have in mind is exactly right. Sometimes there is a better answer.
Search
The interesting cars are not always the ones you find in an advertisement. I look through the market, speak to people I know and follow leads wherever they take me. In Berlin or on the other side of the world. The point is not to show you fifty cars. It is to find the few worth looking at.
Inspect
Photographs can tell you a great deal. They can also hide a great deal. I inspect the car, its history, originality, condition and the details that make a difference. I want to know what is right, what is wrong and what it may cost to put right. Before you make a decision.
Acquire
Finding the right car is only half the job. I can handle the conversations, negotiate, coordinate paperwork and arrange transport or handover. And if the car needs something before you can enjoy it, we deal with that too. You decide how involved you want to be.
